Allison Chapman is an elementary school counselor from Newberry, South Carolina, whose passion for helping children discover their confidence shines through every story she writes. Guided by her work with young learners, Allison believes every child deserves to feel secure in who they are—bold, bright, quiet, dramatic, creative, curious, and everything in between.
Allison writes to encourage children to follow their hearts, trust their passions, and not let the voices of others drown out their own. Through her books, she hopes to connect with readers who may share similar experiences and remind them that their individuality is something to treasure, not hide.
As an aunt to one nephew and two nieces, Allison’s greatest wish is that they—and all children—grow up unafraid to speak up, stand tall, and embrace their true selves without changing to fit in.
